I´m 55 years old female called Johanna. I study in Sastamala in Tyrvään käsi- ja taideteollisuusoppilaitos to become a precious metal craftsman. 

I have lived most of my life in Kokemäki. After high school I went into vocational school wherefrom I graduated automation installer. After school I worked first in Sinimetalli and then in Sinituote. Factory work was not for me, but there I earned my living almost for 30 years. 

Almost all of my life I have made handicraft as a hobby. I knit, crochet, tie macrame, felt, pluck lace, sew and so on. I have tried also woodwork and liked it a lot, but it needs workspace.  

I took lots of courses in a community college. Once I went to the course called “twisted from iron wire”, there I made a window decoration. I twisted iron wire into heart shaped and put into it pearls and lights. There I found out how fun it was. Soon I made jewels and went silver jewel courses. After a few years I applied to school and now I am about to finish after spring.
