I think that very many fokus to develop few skills very high level to master it fully and every skill is like that if you want to maste it. For example, playing an instrument needs hundreds of hours to years to practise to come a master and yet there comes always new layers to discover. Or you can make a fire in the forest without lighter, it takes many times to handle that skill, but if you know the basics on both, you can be the one who plays that guitar by the campfire and that fokus goes to have fun and singing together instead of who have the most developed skills. And i think that’s the point to have multiple basic skills. To enjoy. To inspire.
I think this was brilliant way to even notice my own skills and this really made me rethink my own skills again. Its not just something you learn from somewhere but more what you are and want to be. Energy goes where fokus flows. I think that eveyone have their unique skills but to recognation can take time and when that happens, you can practise it everyday in you daily life. Like if you realise, that you have wide volcabulary, maybe you should take quick lesson about writing or public speeking and find that way to expand it. I think it’s also very important to know why to put time and effort to some skill, what I want to achieve with that?
What comes to become a goldsmith, there is millon ways to do one thing. And knowing the basics is just one way and takes time, because those basics have also many variations. But the most inportant is to learn that one way, to master it and then develop that if need. Being an entrepeneur in Finland really requires many basic skills to earn living in this profession.
I really got inspired about this blog and propably gonna go deeper in this. I wanna be succesfull with what i already have and manage those skills and time will tell what i need in future and what skills to let go.
